Green Brigade urge Celtic fans to 'set the tone' for new season as they reveal full stadium tifo plans

The Green Brigade have published their plans for a full Celtic Park stadium tifo on flag day.

The ultras group are famed for their banners and tifos from the past number of seasons with flag day often bringing out some of their most creative designs. They have now urged their fellow punters to get behind their ideas and "set the tone" for the coming campaign following what they describe as "restrictions" last year which prevented similar banners.

They have also asked for donations to raise funds for initiatives throughout the year to build "memorable displays" over the course of the season as Brendan Rodgers' side get set to play vs Kilmarnock on the opening day.

Their statement read: "As Celtic prepare to kick off the new season as Champions Again, the Green Brigade are planning a full stadium tifo to welcome the team onto the park for the unfurling of the flag before the first league match of the campaign v Kilmarnock on Sunday 4th August.

"With the backing of Celtic fans, we have been able to create some iconic tifos on big occasions like this over the years, and we hope this will be no different. After a difficult season last year where tifos were restricted, this is an opportunity for the Celtic support to set the tone for the upcoming league campaign.

"For the first time since 2022/23 season, we are asking for donations from the wider fanbase to help make this possible. With at least four Champions League home matches, we will also hold a bucket collection at a later date, as well as further fundraising initiatives throughout the season. With your support, we hope we can inspire the team and help create more memorable displays at Celtic Park over the course of 2024/25.

"Thank you."
