Greenock Wanderers will put bodies on line in Santa Dash this weekend

THE Greenock Wanderers community will put their bodies on the line this weekend as they're set to take part in a Santa Dash.

Club members are seeking sponsorship as each of their sections will cover sections of a six mile run between Lunderston Bay before finishing at their Fort Matilda home, where they'll pass over the match ball as part of their Santa Dash.

Each section is seeking sponsorship ahead of taking part in their section of the run, that will end with the 'micros', the club's presenting the match ball to the 1st XV before their game.

It is hoped that the dash will be a fun event for all club sections, from the youths, to the midi's, Mini's, Micro's, to the Wee Wandies, in order to raise funds that'll pay for winter training on 4G astro-turf pitches throughout Inverclyde.
