Trent Grisham hit three home runs as the San Diego Padres eased past the Houston Astros 13-2 in MLB action on Saturday.
Grisham posted his first three-home game and drove in a career-high six runs for the Padres, who claimed their sixth consecutive win.
Rookie Jake Cronenworth also launched a grand slam in a nine-run second inning in San Diego, where the Padres (17-12) became the first team in MLB history to hit five slams in six games.
Elsewhere, reigning National League (NL) MVP Cody Bellinger homered in the ninth inning as the Los Angeles Dodgers earned a 4-3 walk-off win at home to the Colorado Rockies.
Bellinger drove a pitch from Daniel Bard just over the glove of Colorado's Sam Hillard for his seventh home run of the season and second walk-off shot of his career.
The Dodgers (21-8) have won 10 of 11 games to sit top of the NL West ahead of the Padres.
Abreu lights up Cubs
It was the Jose Abreu show as the streaking Chicago White Sox powered past the Chicago Cubs 7-4. Abreu hit three home runs to help the White Sox to a seventh win in a row. The All-Star slugger homered in the sixth, eighth and ninth innings at Wrigley Field, where he went four for four with a walk and four RBIs.
Triston McKenzie enjoyed a memorable debut for the Cleveland Indians. He struck out 10 batters through six innings. Per STATS, McKenzie became the fifth pitcher in the modern era with 10-plus strikeouts and three or fewer baserunners allowed on debut.
Lindblom struggles in Pittsburgh
Milwaukee Brewers pitcher Josh Lindblom did not make it through five innings for the third time in five starts. He gave up three runs in four innings as his ERA moved up to 6.65. Milwaukee lost 12-5 to the Pittsburgh Pirates.

Nothing was going to stop San Francisco Giants outfielder Mike Yastrzemski completing this stunning catch while crashing into the wall. The Giants beat the Arizona Diamondbacks 5-1.
