It appears like Memphis' Jonas Valanciunas won't notch another preseason appearance this year.

The big man averaged 19.9 points and 10.7 rebounds in 19 games with the Grizzlies last year after being traded by the Raptors.
Memphis then signed Valanciunas to a three-year, $45 million deal this summer to fortify a frontcourt that will be headlined by him and sophomore standout Jaren Jackson.
The Grizzlies will kick off the regular season Oct. 23 against the Heat in Miami.
