What Happened When F1 Driver Daniel Ricciardo Saw Every Part of LA Car Culture in One Day

From Road & Track

As a city, Los Angeles sure does love its cars. But the incredible diversity means the car culture changes based on where you are around the city.

Recently, Red Bull Racing driver Daniel Ricciardo took a trip to LA and went on a tour of the city where he met a wide variety of car enthusiasts and drove cars that embodied the culture of the area.

In East LA, for example, he got a chance to talk with guys who are passionate about their low riders. In Beverly Hills, he chats with a classic car collector. And, of course, when he hits Malibu, it's time to drive an Aston Martin through the canyons.

While it's always fun to watch someone drive cool cars, it's also great to celebrate the diversity of car culture. People are passionate about so many different types of cars, and even when those cars are wildly different, it's still the same passion.

And who knows? Maybe Ricciardo enjoyed his experience enough to add a low rider and a hot rod to his collection.
