Hem Heath vice-chairman delighted over bagging Razzaq

Islamabad, Feb. 24 (ANI): Hem Heath's Cricket Club of the North Staffordshire and South Cheshire League Premier Division Vice-Chairman Dean Hodson is reportedly delighted after signing of Pakistan all-rounder Abdul Razzaq. In an editorial published in PakPassion.net, Hodson revealed that Razzaq was the first choice for them when they got to know that Bilawal Bhatti would not be able to fulfill his commitment to Hem Heath this season. Hudson said that he was clear about proven match-winner Razzaq to 'come and win games' for them and that he would bring professionalism into the club's youngsters teaching them to train hard. The editorial also mentioned that Hudson wanted Razzaq's young son to play for the club's under 9 matches, which would integrate Razzaq with the club and help him become more of a member. However, the club's expectancy is very high with Razzaq and Hudson was also full of praise for Pakistan's young pacer Bilawal who helped Heath win four of the twelve games he played with them. Signing star players helps local cricket clubs gain preference and Hudson is hopeful of their latest recruit to attract members of the Pakistani community to Hem Heath. Other international cricketers the club has had are Pakistan's Qaiser Abbas and Mohammad Hussain and former Indian Opener Aakash Chopra. (ANI)
