Hibs And Dundee Utd Into Cup Semis

Hibernian and Dundee United have joined Celtic and Falkirk in the semi-finals of the Scottish Cup.

Leigh Griffiths scored a hat-trick as last year's defeated finalists Hibernian beat Kilmarnock 4-2 at Rugby Park.

In the day's other match, Dundee United overcame city rivals Dundee 2-1 at Dens Park, with goals from Brian McLean and Gary Mackay-Steven.

All four quarter-final ties were won by the away side, with Celtic winning 2-1 at St Mirren, and Falkirk edging out Hamilton Academical by the same margin on Saturday.

The draw for the semi-finals will take place on Monday, with the matches to be played at Hampden Park over the weekend of 13-14 April.
