Home and Away's Remi declares love for Bree in new scenes

Home and Away spoilers follow for UK viewers.

Home and Away's Remi Carter reveals the extent of his feelings for Bree Cameron on UK screens next week.

Remi has grown close to Bree while supporting her through her domestic violence ordeal in recent weeks.

This week's episodes on Channel 5 see Bree reach a major turning point as she bravely reports her abusive husband Jacob to the police.

Jacob is currently out of town on work commitments, and local policeman Cash Newman promises that he'll now be banned from contacting Bree after having an Apprehended Violence Order (AVO) filed against him.

In next week's episodes, Cash updates Bree on the situation by revealing that a deceitful Jacob is pleading not guilty to the charges.

Bree starts to panic about how Jacob might be reacting, but Cash encourages her to call the police again if he breaches the terms of the AVO.

Jacob soon breaks the rules by calling Bree to demand an explanation for the police involvement.

As Bree struggles with Jacob's anger, Remi snatches the phone from her and orders the villain to stop calling.

With Bree starting to crumble under the weight of Jacob's mind games, she protests over Remi's intervention and accuses him of not understanding relationships.

Remi denies this and tells Bree that he's in love with her.

Bree doesn't know how to react to Remi's comments, as in her traumatised state, she can see mirrors between Remi's desperation to protect her and Jacob's controlling behaviour.

With so many obstacles standing in the way of their chances as a couple, what does the future hold for Remi and Bree?

Home and Away airs these scenes on Monday, February 13 at 1.45pm on Channel 5 and 6pm on 5STAR. First-look screenings air at 6.30pm on 5STAR and the show also streams on My5.
