Horse racing-2015 Singapore International Cup

SINGAPORE, May 15 (Reuters) - Factbox on the Singapore International Cup, to be run on Sunday. * The Singapore International is a Group One race held over 2000 metres (1-1/4 miles), held annually in May at Kranji racecourse. * The race was first run in 2000. This year's edition will be the 15th. The 2003 race was cancelled because of the SARS outbreak in Asia. * The total prize money for this year's race will be S$3 million (US$2.28 million) * The only Singapore-trained horse to have won the race was Ouzo, which took out the inaugural running in 2000. * Since then, horses trained from eight foreign countries have won the race: England, United Arab Emirates, Germany, Australia, Japan, South Africa, France and Hong Kong. * No horse or jockey has won the race more than once. * The only trainers to have won the race more than once are Herman Brown (2008, 2011) and John Moore (2013, 2014). * Previous winners 2014 - Dan Excel 2013 - Military Attack 2012 - Chinchon 2011 - Gitano Hernando 2010 - Lizards Desire 2009 - Gloria de Campeao 2008 - Jay Peg 2007 - Shadow Gate 2006 - Cosmo Bulk 2005 - Mummify 2004 - Epalo 2003 - not held 2002 - Grandera 2001 - Endless Hall 2000 - Ouzo (Compiled by Julian Linden, editing by Nick Mulvenney)
