The 10-year-old, an also-ran at the Cheltenham Festival in March, rebounded in style, sealing victory from 25-1 bet Away We Go, with Home Farm (10-1) third and Sweeney Tunes (12-1) fourth.

The finish was nip-and-tuck, but jockey Ben Dalton coaxed out victory by half a length for trainer Dot Love, leaving Willie Mullins to wait again for his first Irish National winner.
