Godolphin’s former camel rider had been out of the equation since trainer Mahmood Al Zarooni was caught doping horses, with Ajtebi instead enjoying success back in Dubai.
But after Zibelina was transferred to Charlie Appleby, who has been approved to take over Al Zarooni’s Moulton Paddock stable, Ajtebi was called back just under two weeks ago, and was delighted to ride the three-year-old Irish filly to victory.
It was a dominant ride, with Zibelina leading from the front to beat Ultrasonic by a length and a half.
"I came here for two or three weeks at the start of the season and then I went back to Dubai," said Ajtebi.
"I came back about 12 days ago and Godolphin have given me some good rides so I hope I can keep going.
"(Zibelina) had only run once at Newcastle but she won by 10 lengths,” he added, referring to a brilliant win in a Newcastle maiden.
“She was keen going to the start but she picked up very well in the race."
