Grands Crus ridden by jockey Tom Scudamore going to post during the RSA Chase during Ladies Day, at the 2012 Cheltenham Festival.

David Pipe's charge held entries in the Ryanair Chase and Ladbrokes World Hurdle - the feature race next Thursday on the third day of the Festival.

Pipe said: "We will look towards possibly running at Aintree. We scoped Grands Crus and wanted him to be 110% and he wasn't."

Grands Crus was second to four-time winner Big Buck's in the 2011 World Hurdle, before switching to fences and finishing fourth in last year's RSA Chase.

There were 18 acceptors for the Ladbrokes World Hurdle on Friday with the Willie Mullins-trained Quevega, Nicky Henderson's Oscar Whisky and Nick Williams' Reve De Sivola contesting ante-post favouritism.
