Back in June 2005, when she was still known as Anna Napravnik, she recorded her first win, riding Ring Of Diamonds at Pimlico.
These are two symbols for the best jockey of her generation who shines a little bit more on the track every year, particularly in Baltimore, the regular venue for the second event of the Triple Crown.
Eight years later, her results speak for themselves: fifth in the Kentucky Derby, third in the Preakness Stakes onMylute and sixth in the Belmont Stakes with Unlimited Budget.
With consistency - she was the most reliable performer in the 2013 Triple Crown - and versatility - with regards to different tracks and horses - the 25-year-old hardly needs to remind anyone that she is as strong as her male rivals.
Jazz Napravnik – a trainer, but above all her sister – believes that particular difficulty has never been Rosie’s problem and that she also has a very strong link with the horses that is impossible to explain.
This connection has already enabled her to win around 1,500 races in her career, 300 of which came in 2006 alone, and to become the first woman to win the Kentucky Oaks in 2012.
The horse that partners her now is called Believe You Can. And who knows better than Rosie Napravnik that when you want to, you can?
