Horse Racing Tips: Moore winners for Ryan at Newmarket this afternoon

Nottingham 14:20 – Holy Tiber 13/8 – 2pts
Sets a clear standard on form having won her debut at 5f at Doncaster and the faster ground today should aid her step up in distance. The in-form James Doyle takes the ride which should provide a massive boost to her chances.

Newmarket 15:15 – Mutoondresdashorse 9/4 – 2pts
Adam Kirby takes the ride on Mutoondresdashorse who should enjoy the trip and relish the conditions. He won on soft ground last month at Newbury and can be forgiven his run on the all-weather at Kempton last time out after finishing lame. Back on turf today, he’s well worth keeping the faith.

Newcastle 15:40 – Briardale 9/2 – 2pts
A 6 length winner at Redcar last time out, he is 2 from 5 starts at today’s venue. Former champion jockey Paul Hanagan takes the ride again today and although he will have to compete with a career high mark today, he’s in tremendous heart and should go close once again.

Newmarket 15:50 – Muhajjal 11/10 – 3pts
Today’s race sees Owen Burrows’ 3yo in much calmer waters having last been seen finishing behind subsequent Group 1 winner Barney Roy at Haydock in September last year. The form of that race, the other five first home have all won since, and his other two maiden runs should mean he has too much for today’s field.

Newmarket 16:25 – Makzeem 11/2 – 1pt
Dropping back in distance today, the Roger Charlton runner benefits from the expertise of Ryan Moore on board and if able to break smartly from his wide draw, should prove difficult to peg back in favourable conditions.
