If there’s one thing we can say about the lockdown, it’s that it has been very distressing indeed. Our workout routine has gone out of the window, our mental health has taken a beating as has, perhaps, our general wellness too. The app that serves as a booking window to the gym chain Cult Fit is also a very nifty app in the times of a global pandemic and a national lockdown. There are workout sessions every 30 minutes on the app starting from 5 am all the way to 11 pm so you don’t really have an excuse to not start working out. The workout sessions range from 30 minutes to 60 minutes and cater to all difficulty levels – starting from beginners to advanced and professional. The app has a desktop version that runs on all standard browsers so you can watch your instructions on your laptop or stream the class on a big-screen television.

2. Wakeout

If you’re the kinds who doesn’t just hate working out but uses your tiny living space as an excuse, Wakeout is the app for you. What the app does is uses the things around you to help you squeeze in some exercise, which is what you need during the lockdown, don’t you agree? The exercises included in the app are really basic – think dancing in the kitchen or push-ups at your desk etc. As it turns out, you don’t need a lot of space to get your workout!

3. Fitbit

Once you do that, simply subscribe to their channel and follow their videos. Sounds simple enough, doesn’t it?

While staying physically fit is important, it is also crucial to pay attention to your mental health. Which is what brings us to Calm, the top-rated meditation app that starts at the very basic level, teaching its users how to meditate and helps them build it into a habit.
