Huddersfield Giants have released their squad numbers for the 2025 Super League season and have perhaps hinted who their first choice full-back will be, with new signing Jacob Gagai handed the number one shirt.

One of a handful of new recruits at the Giants, the former South Sydney Rabbitohs outside back featured on the wing in the NRL, but he does have previous experience in the full-back role. He could be Jake Connor's replacement following his move to Leeds Rhinos, with Tui Lolohea given the six shirt and Adam Clune the seven.

Meanwhile, Luke Robinson, who will enter his first full season as Giants head coach, has given another new signing, Tom Burgess, the number ten shirt. Like Gagai, the towering front rower joins from the Rabbitohs. Fellow new overseas addition Zac Woolford, son of former Huddersfield coach Simon Wollford, has been given the number nine shirt after his move from Canberra Raiders.

Adam Swift and Sam Halsall take the two starting wing spots, with Jake Bibby occuping the other centre position. Jack Murchie and Sam Hewitt have the two starting back row numbers.
