Inter Milan have beaten Man Utd and Tottenham to the signing of Juventus striker Paulo Dybala, according to reports in Italy.

The Argentina international joined Juventus in 2015 in a deal worth €40m after impressing for fellow Serie A outfit Palermo.

Since arriving in Turin, the 28-year-old has bagged 114 goals in 289 appearances for the Old Lady with Dybala scoring 14 goals in 35 appearances this term.

Dybala is out of contract at Juve this summer with the striker linked with Tottenham, Man Utd, Arsenal, Inter Milan, AS Roma and Atletico Madrid.

Premier League sides Man Utd, Tottenham and Arsenal are particularly keen to strengthen their forward lines ahead of next season and reportedly viewed Dybala as a potential cheap option.

However, it now looks like those three sides have been beaten to the punch by Serie A side Inter Milan with Gazzetta dello Sport (via the Daily Mail) claiming that Dybala has ‘chosen to join’ the Nerazzurri.

Dybala is ‘keen to remain in Italy’ with Inter convincing him to join after Simone Inzaghi insisted he would be ‘central’ to his team at the San Siro.

The Argentine will earn £5m a season on a four-year deal after Inter received ‘assurances’ that Dybala is in good physical condition after the striker suffering from a number of injuries throughout his career.

Four Premier League sides – including Man Utd and Spurs – recently spoke to his agent but Dybala and Inter are now in ‘agreement’ over his future.

Former Premier League star Paolo Di Canio recently warned clubs interested in signing Dybala that he acts like a “big cry baby” when things don’t go his way.

“It’s true that he could become a technical leader, but I cannot have an emotionally fragile one,” Di Canio told il Corriere dello Sport.

“If things go well, he turns up in games, but if things go wrong, I define him almost as a big cry baby.”

Just a few days ago Football Insider reported that Newcastle had made ‘a blockbuster offer’ for Dybala with the club apparently ‘willing to make him their highest-ever paid player’.
