Hull Kingston Rovers' first away game of the 2025 Super League season will be against newly-promoted Wakefield Trinity on a Thursday night, February 20, which will be the first home game back in the top flight for the hosts.

Hull KR will start the Super League season in round one with a home night fixture against Castleford Tigers on Friday February 14, being shown on Sky Sports Main Event. Rivals round returns in round eight as Hull KR travel to the MKM Stadium to face Hull FC on Good Friday with a 12.30pm kick-off.

There will be significant reunions in their opening two games of the campaign for Hull KR. When they face Castleford, they will take on former Hull KR interim head coach Danny McGuire, now the Tigers' head coach, and former Rovers assistant coach Brett Delaney, who is now in a similar role at his new club. When they take on Wakefield away, it will mean that Rovers players James Batchelor, Kelepi Tanginoa and Jai Whitbread will all face their former clubs. Both games kick off at 8pm.

Organisers opted to not go for a repeat of last season's Super League curtain-raiser, when Hull KR went to Hull FC for a derby - and they also chose not to go for a 2024 Grand Final repeat between Hull KR and Wigan as the curtain raiser. Last year's Super League-opening Hull derby turned out to be a one-sided affair as Hull KR dominated ill-disciplined Hull FC on the way to a 22-0 win at the MKM Stadium.

Following the pre-season Amsterdam Challenge against York, Rovers will play away in the Challenge Cup - then the Super League action will start. The rest of the fixtures in full will be released tomorrow morning.
