Ianis Hagi instructs agents to 'find right team and manager' as Rangers fringe man drops transfer exit hint

Ianis Hagi has instructed his agents to "find the right club and manager" for his future in the biggest hint yet that he's set to leave Rangers permanently this summer.

The Ibrox winger, 25, has been on loan at Alaves this season and enjoyed a stint in La Liga after being allowed to leave Glasgow initially under Michael Beale. We at Football Scotland exclusively revealed in early January how the Romanian did NOT have a recall clause in his loan deal which did not allow Philippe Clement to bring him back.

Now, though, the player has explained how he has told his representatives what he wants from his future and that's a club where he'll play and where he feels will suit him best beyond the Euros this summer.

“My focus is on the Euros,” Hagi said. “I had talks with my agents and the pressure is on them. They know what I want for my future, it's a pretty important summer for me from all points of view. I told them before going to the national team what I wanted.

“I expect them to work as well as possible, to find the right team and the right manager for me. I can't say if I'll be at Rangers or somewhere else. My future depends on my agents.”
