Ianis Hagi Rangers transfer clause 'revealed' as club cause 'problem' for outcast
Ianis Hagi has a Rangers transfer release clause of £2.95million, it has been claimed.
Hagi is a Gers outcast currently and hasn't been getting a look in for the first team since his return from his loan season at Alaves. Philippe Clement had hoped to offload the Romanian before the end of window, to bring in much-needed transfer funds and get him off the wage bill.
There was interest from his homeland and elsewhere but nothing came from any of it and he stayed put at Ibrox beyond the end of the transfer window. It has now emerged that any club could have apparently triggered a release clause of €3.5 million (£2.95m) to take him away from Glasgow.

Hagi family friend Giovanni Becali said: "Ianis' problem is that Rangers have set a clause for him, €3.5 million. If a club comes in for him and pays it, he can leave Rangers.
"But the problem is Rangers aren't giving him the opportunity so no one can watch him. "He's not even getting to sit on the bench, never mind playing."
Hagi recently hit out at reports claiming comments attributed to Becali were from his 'agent'.
He said: "He's not my agent, I've been under contract with one football agency AC Talent for more than four years and they're the only people who represent and talk on my behalf."
