Ianis Hagi Rangers transfer exit could be funded by his agent as he's willing to put hand in pocket

Ianis Hagi's agent insists he would spend his own money to find his client a new club.

The Rangers winger is back with the Ibrox club after a loan away in Spain with Alaves last season but faces an uncertain future. He is contracted until 2026 with the Light Blues but it is not yet known if he will be able to muscle his way back into Philippe Clement's plans.

Hagi's agent, Giovanni Becali, has previously admitted it was proving hard to find a buyer for the 25-year-old. And he's now claimed he would be willing to dip into his own pocket - though he also hasn't given up hope of his client resurrecting his Rangers career.

Speaking to Digi Sport ahead of Hagi's wedding next week, he said: "Yes, I'm going. I'm going with my wife. I would be more than happy to help him find a team. I would spend money from me and my brother to find something for Ianis. He has an impresario who is very good to me. He has a contract with Rangers and I think he will start training with them. I hope that the coach will continue to consider him (as part of first team squad)."
