Ianis Hagi vows to fight for Rangers and Philippe Clement as he gets bullish about future
Ianis Hagi has vowed to fight for Rangers and manager Philippe Clement despite being frozen out.
The Romanian attacker hasn't kicked a ball for the Ibrox side since August 2023 and went on to spend most of last season on loan in Spain with La Liga side Alaves. He hasn't been welcomed back into the first team fold since his return either, instead training and playing for the B side.
It was expected he would move on before the end of the summer transfer window as Gers tried to get rid of some fringe men and free up funds and spaces for new arrivals. Nothing materialised though and Hagi remains a Light Blues player. Despite all of that, he has vowed to keep giving his utmost for the club.

The 25-year-old showed Clement what he has been missing with a starring role for his country during the international week. And he spoke to media back home on his future afterwards.
He told ProSport: "It's all down to me, I know what I've been through for the last six weeks. I did the training with the second team, I did the physical training. The Romania coach knows how much I pushed myself to be present here. This is my passion.
"I'm going back to Rangers. I have one year left on my contract there. I gave two public messages, everyone knows them. I love the club, I'm ready to fight for the fans, for what that huge club means in Europe.
"I'm there, I'm back, I'm fighting for the coach, for the team. They know who I am as a person, as a footballer. Tomorrow, I go back to Glasgow and start all over again. I fight."
