Ibrahim Adel Rangers transfer asking price revealed as Premier League duo sniff about
Pyramids FC will demand £5million if Rangers are to land Ibrahim Adel, according to a report.
The Light Blues are interested in the Egyptian winger but it was reported they had an initial offer for the highly-rated 23-year-old knocked back by his club, while Premier League new boys Ipswich and Leicester are also both taking a look.
It is believed Adel would prefer a move to the English top flight if it was on offer but wouldn't rule out using Ibrox as a stepping stone to get there if that was the best option on the table currently. It is now claimed by the Daily Record that Pyramids FC have set an asking price of £5m.
The report also adds that club insiders claims they have NOT made an official approach for the player as yet but do hold an interest. Adel was a standout for his country at this summer's Olympics as they reached the semi-final - and scored a double as they beat eventual champions Spain at the group stage.
Norwich City winger Abu Kamara, Benfica's Tiago Gouveia and Josip Brekalo of Fiorentina are all believed to be potential targets as Philippe Clement looks to add quality in the wide areas.
