Ibrahima Konate kicks off during Sky Sports interview over man of the match award
Ibrahima Konate jokingly kicked off during his post-match interview after missing out on the man of the match award against Wolves.
The French defender was speaking to Sky Sports after the game but was left far from impressed when having to hand over the trophy to teammate Ryan Gravenberch, despite scoring Liverpool's opener in its 2-1 victory at Molineux.
But it was perhaps Konate's defensive blunder that led to Wolves' equalizer that denied him the man of the match award, having seen Rayan Ait-Nouri bury the ball into an empty net following a mix-up between himself and goalkeeper Alisson, leaving the two under intense scrutiny and red-faced.

Konate recovered well throughout the remainder of the game and played an important role in helping Liverpool see out the 2-1 victory - yet it wouldn't be enough to see him place ahead of Gravenberch in the Sky Sports standings.
Having enjoyed a bit of banter with the Netherlands midfielder during their post-match interview together, Konate was then asked to present the player of the match award to the 22-year-old in front of the cameras - to which the Frenchman lost his cool.
"Sky Sports, Sky Sports, who decided this man of the match? How is this possible?," Konate said as Gravenberch struggled to contain his laughter. "I score, today I score, I saved one or two goals and I still don't deserve this? What happened?"
He then points towards the presenters and camera crew with a wry smile and demands they "have to sort this" as he makes his feelings clear on missing out on yet another man of the match award for a game he believes he deserves to win.
Konate then regains his cool and presents the award to Gravenberch, congratulating his teammate before embracing him in a hug. A voice can then be heard speaking to Konate, explaining it was Gary Neville who decided the award, before the cameras cut back to the studio.
At the expense of Konate's disappointment, however, Reds fans will have certainly loved watching the commotion unfold and it also offered a greater insight into the light-hearted character the Frenchman also is, while Gravenberch's schoolboy giggling was also a memorable takeaway.
But the important thing is that Liverpool won and moved to the top of the Premier League with another three points, opening up a one-point gap over title rivals Manchester City and Arsenal in the meantime.
