England return to the international stage tonight for the first time in 2020.

Gareth Southgate‘s side face Iceland in the Uefa Nations League, their first game in League A, Group 2 this season.

England could name several debutants during the fixture, with injuries and other off-pitch events dictating several of the usual faces are not present for the clash.

Belgium and Denmark are the other sides in England’s group.

When is the match?

The Nations League clash kicks off at 5pm BST on Saturday, 5 September. The game takes place at Laugardalsvollur Stadium in Reykjavik.

What is the team news?

Iceland have been hit by multiple players opting out of selection, with Gylfi Sigurdsson, Johann Berg Gudmundsson and Alfred Finnbogason among them.

England are without regulars Harry Maguire, Ben Chilwell, Jordan Henderson and Marcus Rashford, while the likes of Phil Foden, Jack Grealish and Mason Greenwood could make their senior international debuts.
