The tech juggernaut made headlines yet again with the announcement of the highly anticipated iPhone 12 during its last iPhone-centric keynote presentation on Oct. 13, 2020. Setting it apart from the iPhone 11 and many of the iPhone's earlier iterations, the iPhone 12 lineup of phones features flat edges, maintaining a nearly edge-to-edge display.
The iPhone 12 runs on Apple's new A14 bionic chip, which the company says guarantees 15 percent faster speeds and 30 percent more power efficiency than the A13 chip. Along with the other newly released iPhones, the iPhone 12 also supports mmWave and sub-6 5G connectivity in the U.S.
