IPL 2021: Aakash Chopra Predicts The Winner Of MI vs CSK Clash
The IPL 2021 resumes in the UAE from today with the clash between Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings. MI beat CSK in the first meeting between the two sides in the first half of the season. CSK are placed second on the points table at the moment while Mumbai Indians are placed fourth. Slow starters, Mumbai are yet to find momentum in the tournament.
Predicting the winner of this match on his Youtube channel, Aakash Chopra said that he is expecting Mumbai Indians to win the encounter.
“I am putting my neck on the block, you can make the memes. I am going with Mumbai Indians to win.”
Finger Spinners To Take More Wickets Than Wrist Spinners: Aakash Chopra
Going ahead with his analysis, Chopra said that finger spinners will take more wickets than wrist spinners in the game.
“Finger fingers to pick more wickets than wrist spinners. You might see Tahir and Chawla play, Rahul Chahar will surely play. But Moeen Ali and Jaddu will do a fairly good job on this big ground. They will be taking more wickets.”
In his other two predictions about the game, Aakash Chopra said that the batting team will get an explosive start. He further said that the first boundary will be scored in the first 10 balls.
“The first boundary to be scored within the first ten balls. I am expecting a bit of caution – an inside edge or outside edge or a boundary on the legs. I don’t think you will see free-flowing cricket right at the outset. Everybody might just start with a bit of caution.”
In his second prediction, Chopra said the batting side will lose an early wicket inside the first four overs.
“The first wicket will surely fall in the first four overs, it is possible two might also fall. The last time when the first match was played in Dubai, the pitch was hard and had grass, there was a lot of sideways movement available. Even though you might play cautiously, despite that Deepak Chahar, Bumrah or Boult – whoever bowls, they will still get you out.”
In the last seven matches between the two teams, CSK has won just one game, while Mumbai Indians 6.
