IPL 2021: “Experience Wins You The Big Encounters” – Aakash Chopra Lauds Chennai Super Kings
Former India cricketer, Aakash Chopra is all praise for skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni and the Chennai Super Kings. The franchise defeated the Kolkata Knight Riders on Friday, October 15 to win their fourth Indian Premier League title.
Batting first Chennai Super Kings put on 92 runs on the board, on the back of Faf Du Plessis stunning 86 runs knock. They restricted the Kolkata Knight Riders on 165 runs, registering a 27-runs victory in the finals.
In a video shared on Aakash Chopra’s YouTube Channel, the former cricketer lauded Chennai Super Kings’ performance in the league. He highlighted that the Chennai Super Kings is the second most successful franchise in the Indian Premeir League after the Mumbai Indians. Aakash said,
“Maan barkarar hai, shaan barkarar hai, team in yellow ka captain barkarar hai aur Chennai Super Kings ka nishaan trophy pe barkarar hai. The fourth trophy, MS Dhoni ki ek baar phir IPL mein ban gayi sarkar.”
“What a player, what a team. They are the Champion Super Kings, the second-most successful franchise in the history of the IPL. They are an amazing and rocking team. The night did not belong to the Knights, but MS Dhoni’s Chennai Super Kings,” he added.

The duster has been applied on the bad memories of 2020: Aakash Chopra
Aakash Chopra highlighted the importance of experienced players in the team and asserted that Chennai Super Kings’ success is proof of it. He also added that we may have seen MS Dhoni’s finishing his journey as a cricketer with the Chennai Super Kings, in style. Aakash said,
“You don’t get experience in the supermarket but in the Super Kings. Experience is the thing that wins you the big encounters, the first qualifier against Delhi and after that, the final against Kolkata.”
“The duster has been applied on the bad memories of 2020 and they have written a new story in 2021. We don’t know if we will see MS Dhoni in yellow as a player but one thing is certain that if this were to be the last chapter, he has got a trophy in his hand,” he added.
