Sunrisers Hyderabad will leave for the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on September 1 to participate in the second phase of IPL 2021.
The IPL was suspended in May after the COVID-19 cases were rising in India and later Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) decided to shift the remaining fixtures of the tournament to UAE with the tournament restarts on September 10.

According to a report by Sportskeeda, Sunrisers Hyderbad’s wicket-keeper batsman Shreevats Goswami confirmed that the team would be flying to UAE on the first day of September, which makes them the fifth team to announce their departure.
Meanwhile, Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings have already completed the mandatory six-day quarantine and have also started with their training camps respectively. Table leaders Delhi Capitals will leave on August 21, while KL Rahul’s Punjab Kings will leave on August 29.
Surnrisers Hyderabad’s poor run in IPL 2021
Sunrisers Hyderabad are currently at the bottom of the points table in IPL 2021 so far, they have only managed to win against Punjab Kings out of the seven games they played. Just before the IPL was suspended, the franchise made a major decision to changes David Warner as the team’s captain with Kane Williamson.
In a major boost to Sunriser Hyderabad’s camp, Tamil Nadu pace bowler T Natarajan was cleared to fly with the team after the left-arm pacer recovered from a knee injury he sustained during the first phase of IPL 2021. Natarajan underwent knee surgery in April and went to National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru for his recovery.
Sunrisers Hyderabad will play against Delhi Capitals on September 22 in Dubai.
