Italy's Serie A clubs to decide on private equity media bids in 2-3 weeks - Torino chairman

MILAN (Reuters) - Italy's Serie A soccer clubs will reach a decision in two or three weeks on two separate private equity funds that are bidding to invest in its new media business, Urbano Cairo, chairman of Torino FC said on Wednesday.

Earlier, the clubs voted unanimously to carry out further reviews on two separate bids led by CVC Capital Partners and Bain Capital BCSF.N, which value a 10% stake in the new media business at up to 1.6 billion euros, the sources said.
