Jürgen Klopp has sent a heartfelt message to Liverpool fans as he prepares for his final farewell appearance at the M&S Bank Arena. The 'An Evening with Jürgen Klopp' event marks the end of an era, celebrating the charismatic German's near-nine-year tenure at Liverpool and offering him one last chance to bid farewell to supporters.

A sea of fans are flocking to the waterfront venue, gearing up for what's expected to be another stirring evening. Klopp, sharing his thoughts on Instagram, told his followers: "Okay, so now I've tried to put myself somehow in proper gear to say now for the last time, hopefully, goodbye."

He was anticipating a memorable night, saying: "I'm pretty sure it will be a good event again pretty emotional, but I think we are through the worst now. So we can have a good time and that's the plan."

Klopp also expressed his wishes for those tuning in: "So I wish you as well — if you can see it — if you can watch it (I'm not sure if somebody shows it) a wonderful night as well." With enthusiasm, he added, "So let's go! So here we go, that's it. Ready for the party."

The video concludes with Klopp showing off his sartorial choice for the evening: a sharp navy blue suit paired with crisp white trainers. Earlier today, he was snapped flying into Merseyside on a private jet.

Hosting duties for tonight's special event fall to comedian John Bishop and LFCTV's Peter McDowall, with musical entertainment from The Lightning Seeds, The Zutons, and Alfie Boe set to light up the stage. This poignant occasion follows just days after Klopp's touching Anfield speech, which saw the Kop legend address the home crowd following his exit from the club.

Liverpool.com says: It's nice to have the updates from Klopp on Instagram. It remains to be seen for how long he will keep those up, but Reds supporters will continue to lap it up in the meantime! He seems to be having a good time so far, spending time in the sun and playing padel.
