Jack Grealish lost cool at Newcastle fans as Man City star let emotions boil over
Jack Grealish could not hide his emotions following Manchester City's 1-1 draw with Newcastle United after he was caught taunting the home fans in recently revealed footage.
The England international managed 82 minutes of the St James' Park stalemate but could do little to prevent his side from dropping points in successive Premier League games as the Citizens were held by the Magpies in Saturday's early kick-off.
It came just six days after the reigning champions grabbed a last-minute equalizer to draw 2-2 with title rivals Arsenal at the Etihad Stadium, although back-to-back draws now means Pep Guardiola's outfit have now dropped to second in the Premier League table and one point behind new leaders Liverpool.

Having won four top flight titles in a row, it's fair to say Man City's players aren't used to things not going their way and that was evident with Grealish's reaction to Newcastle fans as he walked towards the players' tunnel after the game.
In footage revealed by ChronicleLive, which was filmed from behind the dugouts, the 29-year-old can be seen looking at a nearby section of the home faithful before pointing towards them and putting his finger to his lips, gesturing to them to keep quiet.
It was a clear sign Newcastle, like Arsenal in the game before, had got under Man City's skin after denying them three points for the second week in a row, having seen Anthony Gordon's controversial 58th-minute penalty cancel out Josko Gvardiol's first-half strike.
But it's also no surprise that Grealish, in particular, was being taunted by the Geordies following his previous comments on Magpies winger Miguel Almiron during Man City's title celebrations in 2022, where he distastefully accused then-teammate Riyad Mahrez of playing like the Paraguayan in front of the cameras.
Nonetheless, the former Aston Villa winger is the latest player to lash out following recent results for Guardiola's outfit, who were without star playmaker Kevin de Bruyne for the tie and midfield maestro Rodri following the Spaniard's season-ending injury.
During his post-match interview following last week's 2-2 draw with Mikel Arteta's Arsenal, Man City's Bernardo Silva took a swipe at the Gunners for their defensive style of play and time wasting tactics during the game, having seen themselves reduced to 10-men during the first-half.
"There was only one team that came to play football," Silva complained after the full-time whistle last Sunday. "The other came to play to the limits of what was possible to do and allowed by the referee, unfortunately. But at the end we got a draw, the best we could get considering the context of the last moments of the match.
"We're not happy as we wanted the three points, but personally I'm happy with the way we came to play and faced the game. I'm glad we always enter the pitch to try to win every match."
