Former Aston Villa captain Jack Grealish has revealed he would like to go on I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here.

The hit ITV show has entered its 24th series Down Under in Australia with a number of big name contestants. Boxing legend Barry McGuigan, Coleen Rooney and McFly’s Danny Jones are among this year’s line-up.

Ex-footballers and managers have graced the jungle in years gone by, including winners Harry Redknapp and Jill Scott. Manchester City and England ace Grealish could feature in the future.

Host Declan Donnelly asked Grealish, 30, whether he would be interested in going on the show and the answer left co-host Ant McPartlin gobsmacked.

Grealish said: “I’ve heard a few of you guys want to see me in the jungle, I can’t lie it’s something I would absolutely love to do. It’s a show that I’ve watched for years since I was little.

“I don’t know how I’d get on in there, I don’t think I’d be the best to be honest, but I’d give it a go – not this year, I don’t think Pep would be too happy. But, never say never, it could happen one day.”
