Jadon Sancho has made his feelings on Chelsea perfectly clear after picking up another assist in the 4-2 Premier League victory over Brighton. The Blues signed Sancho on loan from Manchester United on deadline day, and he has very quickly proven his worth to Enzo Maresca.

With the duo having worked together before at Manchester City, the Chelsea manager was already well aware about what he could produce in the right environment, and three assists in as many Premier League outings has certainly backed that prediction up.

"Jadon helped us a lot," Maresca admitted after his first goal contribution in their win against Bournemouth earlier this month. "What he did tonight [against Bournemouth] is exactly what we expected from him. I know Jadon very well because I watched him many times in the past and I know what he can give us."

While Nicolas Jackson starred in last weekend's victory against West Ham, it was Cole Palmer that stole the show at Stamford Bridge against Brighton as he scored four first-half goals. A tap-in, a penalty and unbelievable free-kick all arrived in the opening 31 minutes, with Sancho threading a pass through for his fourth just before the interval.

Though Sancho joined Chelsea nearly one month ago, that was his first appearance representing his new club at Stamford Bridge and he commemorated that debut with a social media post. On Instagram - alongside images of him in action - he wrote: "Special afternoon to make my first appearance at the bridge [the letter A emoji]! +3."

The 24-year-old heaped praise on Palmer following his four-goal haul saying: "@colepalmer No words needed," with the Chelsea star replying, "my boy." Blues defender Tosin Adarabioyo and former Chelsea star, Ian Maatsen, were among those to congratulate Sancho on yet another assist.

With Christopher Nkunku, Joao Felix and Pedro Neto among those vying for a place in Chelsea's front four, Sancho will need to keep up his good form. Up next for the Blues is their first Conference League fixture, in the main phase, as they welcome Gent to Stamford Bridge on Thursday night (8pm).
