Jake Paul makes vow to "shock the whole world" with huge Canelo Alvarez claim ahead of Mike Tyson fight
Jake Paul has made it clear that his eyes are set on only one opponent in the boxing ring, declaring "it's Mike Tyson or no one" amid concerns about the heavyweight icon's wellbeing. The much-anticipated clash between the two was previously put on hold to November 15 following Tyson's health issues, which included suffering nausea on a flight, leading to doctors' orders to postpone the bout earlier this summer.
Fans have been uneasy about a potential second delay.
However, the YouTube sensation has dispelled worries regarding Tyson's condition, asserting that he is thriving in training camp. Paul remarked on Tyson's vigour, affirming: "It's Mike Tyson or nothing. But first and foremost, he's healthy and feeling amazing and doing great in camp."

Looking beyond the proposed fight with Tyson, Paul did not hesitate to share his ambition to take on Canelo Alvarez in the future. Despite what unfolds with the Tyson fight, Paul is determined to face the Mexican fighter, confidently professing his intention to create a massive upset.
Speaking to TMZ, Paul stated his belief in predestination saying: "Everything I've said has come true and why Canelo, you know, should be awake at night, because I'm coming for him," and continued by claiming: "The fight is going to happen and I will win and shock the whole entire world. And, this is me currently speaking it into existence.", reports the Mirror.
"People will sit there and listen to that and be like, 'Oh, he's crazy'. But, I was crazy when I said I'd be doing the biggest fights when I would beat Tyron Woodley, Anderson Silva , all of these things. So you're crazy until you're not."
Canelo is considered one of the greatest boxers in history after winning world title belts in four different divisions - losing just two of his 66 bouts. Paul caused a huge stir after announcing his fight against heavyweight icon "Iron Mike", who is 30 years his senior - with fans and boxing enthusiasts criticising the match-up, which is set to stream on Netflix.
Industry figures like Eddie Hearn have described it as "sad" due to Tyson's advanced age, raising concerns that a boxing legend might get knocked out by Paul nearly two decades post his last pro bout. Yet, Paul maintains he is apprehensive about the bout and is preparing for it diligently, despite being the less experienced yet more youthful contestant.
Reflecting on his feelings about the upcoming fight, he admitted: "Definitely. The moments of insecurity, especially moving up to heavyweight where [Tyson] has the weight advantage and all of that. He's insanely powerful and I know he's taking it seriously."
