Undisputed light-heavyweight king Artur Beterbiev has hinted that he would be open to fighting Jake Paul and has asked the Youtuber-turned boxer just how he thinks he can do what no man has done before by beating him.

After scoring a unanimous points decision against a 58-year-old Mike Tyson on Friday night, Paul brashly claimed that he can become a legitimate boxing world champion within the next two-years. In the lead-up to his mega-crossover showdown with Tyson, Paul, 27, had called out Mexican sensation and current unified super-middleweight champion Canelo Alvarez, insisting that the four-weight belt holder "needs him" to continue his legacy.

And taking to social media, Russian-Canadian powerhouse Beterbiev - who captured all four major belts in the 175-pound division by winning a controversial majority points decision against Dmitry Bivol in Saudi Arabia last month, appears to be willing to put Paul's boisterous claims to the test. In a post on his Instagram story, the heavy-hitting 39-year-old - who has won all but one of his 21 bouts by knockout - said: "@jakepaul what can you do in (the) ring against the current undisputed champion? Just know that I'm always open to any suggestions."

Since turning to professional boxing in 2020, Paul has racked up a record of 11 wins and one defeat, the only blip coming against Love Island star and younger brother of Tyson Fury, Tommy Fury. However, the American's resume is littered with former mixed-martial arts fighters and ex UFC stars, and he is yet to share the ring with a serious, active boxer.
