Jamal Adams, still totally fine with playoffs exit, taunts Rams after loss to Packers
The Los Angeles Rams have been eliminated from the NFL playoffs, and some players on the team they beat one week ago think now is the time to taunt them about it.
Seconds after the Green Bay Packers finished off the Rams in the NFC divisional round, Seattle Seahawks safety Jamal Adams tried to get some revenge by poking fun at the Rams’ undesired free time. He pointedly told them to bring their own cigars.
See y’all in Cabo! @RamsNFL & make sure y’all bring your own damn cigars too! #Prez pic.twitter.com/JpVfTqvSwC

The context of the cigar line goes back to Adams lighting up a victory cigar in Week 16 after the Seahawks clinched the NFC West with a win over the Rams.
It’s safe to say the Rams remembered that cigar. After beating the Seahawks in the wild-card round, Rams quarterback Jared Goff turned the cigar around on Adams:
"Two weeks ago you saw them smoking cigars and getting all excited about beating us and winning the division and we're able to come up here and beat them in their own place," Jared Goff said. "It feels good."

Clearly, Adams thinks the two teams are back on equal footing now that they’re both out of the playoffs, never mind who caused who to be tweeting from their couch. The Rams fell to the top-seeded Packers 32-18 with Defensive Player of the Year contender Aaron Donald hurting from torn rib cartilage, quarterback Jared Goff possibly not 100 percent due to recent thumb surgery and wide receiver Cooper Kupp out with a knee issue.
Seahawks safety Quandre Diggs and defensive tackle Jarran Reed also got in on the action, and the team really seems to like the Cabo taunt:
Don’t worry this Cabo sun will thaw y’all out! Make sure buddy with the foggy glasses come too.

Adams kept the bit going by quote-tweeting Diggs, declaring that prices have gone up in his imaginary hotel:
I just talked to the front desk at the hotel. They said the rooms prices just went up! We caught the discount Diggy! 😂 #Prez https://t.co/LE7QNohX2R

It’s not quite the full Chase Claypool, but it seems safe to say the Seahawks are still smarting a bit from their collapse last week.
