Jamie Carragher makes hilarious Taylor Swift admission during Liverpool Champions League win
Jamie Carragher admitted to being a 'Swiftie' following Liverpool's Champions League win over AC Milan.
The former Reds defender was part of CBS Sports' coverage for the San Siro contest and revealed his secret admiration for the American pop singer shortly after the full-time whistle in Italy, taking part in a game alongside fellow pundits Thierry Henry and Micah Richards.
Presenter Kate Abdo had asked the former Premier League trio whether they knew any Taylor Swift songs, to which Carragher and Richards began singing part of the 34-year-old's hit song 'We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together'.

Abdo then asks Carragher whether it's true he went to one of Swift's concerts, to which the Liverpool legend confirmed he did after paying for a box at one of her three Anfield shows during the summer as she bought her Eras World Tour to Merseyside.
In fact, Carragher had visited his old stomping ground the day after former Reds boss Jurgen Klopp had been in attendance for Swift's opening night, with the German attending the show with his wife Ulla as just one of a number of famous faces inside the ground.
Nonetheless, a shocked Richards in the CBS Studio then asked Carragher whether he is a "Swiftie", to which the 46-year-old responded: "I am a Swiftie now, yeah," before explaining he had gone along as part of his daughters birthday and even wore a bright pink hat with his wife, Nicola, during the show.
Then, during an interview with Trent Alexander-Arnold later in the program following Liverpool's 3-1 victory, Abdo asked the 25-year-old whether he had been one of the lucky ones to get Oasis tickets ahead of the band's reunion tour next summer - to which he quickly responded "no".
However, Carragher then revealed he had already got himself a private box for one of the rock band's dates at Wembley in 2025, leading Abdo to joke: "Jamie went to Taylor Swift. Jamie will go to any concert he can get into".
The main talking point of the night was, of course, Liverpool's impressive 3-1 victory over AC Milan to open its 2024-25 UEFA Champions League campaign, where goals from Ibrahima Konate, Virgil van Dijk and Dominik Szoboszlai canceled out Christian Pulisic's early opener.
The win was the perfect response to Saturday's shock 1-0 defeat at the hands of Nottingham Forest in the Premier League, yet the Reds will now be confident of returning to winning ways in the top flight when they take on Bournemouth in another Anfield showdown this weekend.
