Wales and British and Irish Lions veteran Jamie Roberts is back in the Wales squad after being called by Warren Gatland on Monday.

Roberts, who has 96 Test caps, and prop Scott Andrews have been called int the Wales squad as injury cover and arrived in camp on Monday morning, as the squad reconvened ahead of the game against Georgia on Saturday.

The 31 year-old was left out of the Wales squad as part of a tactical shift towards using two playmakers by Gatland and assistant coach Rob Howley, which has seen Gloucester's Owen Williams selected at inside centre.

Roberts' call-up appears linked to a late injury suffered by Jonathan Davies in the 29-21 defeat to Australia last Saturday, with Davies suffering an ankle injury which Gatland admitted "did not look good".

Other centres in the Wales squad include Owen Watkin, who won his first cap on Saturday, as well as Scott Williams and Hadleigh Parkes.

Scotland meanwhile have added Newcastle Falcons prop Jon Welsh has been added to their squad after Willem Nel, Tim Swinson and Rob Harley were ruled out of the national team’s autumn Test campaign through injury.

Nel and Swinson sustained an arm fracture and hand injury respectively in Saturday’s win over Samoa at Murrayfield, each requiring further specialist assessment.

Wing Tommy Seymour injured his toe in the same match. A MRI scan was performed at Spire Murrayfield Hospital, which confirmed that the player will require ongoing treatment by the Scotland medical team before returning to training this week.

Harley sustained a knee injury in training last week with medical assessment confirming he will take no further part in the autumn campaign. He has returned to the care of his club's medical team.

Toulon number eight Duane Vermeulen has been called into the squad to cover for Pieter-Steph du Toit, who suffered a concussion in the 38-3 defeat to Ireland in Dublin.

Vermeulen will now link up with the Springboks ahead of their Test against France in Paris this weekend.
