Despite signing a bumper new contract at Leicester City during the season, Jamie Vardy's guests were given Pot Noodles for dinner at his wedding, according to the Daily Star.

In fact it was Vardy's wife, Becky Nicholson who gave Pot Noodles to guests as a joke on her husband who she said was only capable of making Pot Noodles.

Luckily for the guests, the Pot Noodles were just a joke and everyone was treated to a proper dinner at the footballer and his wives wedding on Wednesday.

The wedding was held at Peckforton Castle in Cheshire and was full to the brim with celebrity guests such as Danny Simpson, Louis Tomlinson, best man David Nugent and rapper Tinchy Stryder.

Tinchy Stryder took to snapchat to reveal to fans all the secrets from the bash and told of how great a night it was.

"The last Snap I did was the paps but you know what, no phones or cameras are allowed in the wedding. Last night was a really, really good night," the rapper said in a Snapchat video.

One man who apparently had a rough night was Danny Simpson, according to Tinchy Stryder anyway.

" I've kind of recovered but man like Simpson is still here" Tinchy said in another Snapchat story before turning the camera to Simpson who said "No sleep, no time for sleep."

Other stars who attended the wedding were Westlife singer, Shane Filan, who performed at the wedding while former X-Factor star Sam Bailey and Kasabian's Serge Pizzorno in attendance.

The party for Vardy will end there however with concentrations firmly back on England and Euro 2016 as the striker pushes for a starting role in their opener against Russia.
