Ravichandran Ashwin hilariously trolled pitch invader Daniel Jarvis in his latest tweet. In addition to nail-biting clashes and intense competition in India’s tour of England 2021, the tour has also witnessed humorous events. People’s favorite pitch invader Daniel Jarvis aka Jarvo 69 has tried to invade the field with his pranks multiple times. After Lord’s, he entered the Headingley Stadium during Day 3 of India vs England 3rd Test.
After Rohit Sharma lost his wicket in the 2nd innings, Jarvo entered the stadium. This time, he wore an entire Indian kit including a helmet, pads, and gloves. Along with a bat, he appeared on the pitch acting as he is genuinely an Indian batsman. As expected, the security officials pulled him off the ground as he tried hard not to leave the field.

Ravichandran Ashwin is part of India’s squad during the England tour but is yet to play any game in the series. “Today’s play was as good as it can get with @ImRo45 @cheteshwar1 @imVkohli and Jaarvo showing great intent and grit! Earlier Jarvo- who describes himself as a prankster- also invaded India vs England 2nd Test at Lord’s. During India’s fielding, he appeared on the field wearing an Indian jersey. When authorities encountered him, he acted as if he is really a member of the Indian team.
Some Indian players like Ravindra Jadeja and Mohammed Siraj were seen laughing hard on the field as they witnessed the event. Post his act, Jarvo was given a lifetime ban from the Lord’s stadium. After his act at Headingley too, he is expected to get a similar punishment.
Meanwhile, India reached 215-2 on the Day 3 of the Headingley Test. India now trails by 139 runs with Virat Kohli and Cheteshwar Pujara on the crease, unbeaten on 45 and 91 respectively. Earlier, England bowled out India for just 78 in the 1st innings and gained a lead of 354 runs in the 1st innings.
