Jason Bateman is rewatching Ozark with his 15-year-old daughter

Ozark might have ended, but it's still bringing families together.

The drama, which launched on Netflix in 2017 and just recently wrapped its four-season run, follows Marty Byrde (Jason Bateman) as he discovers the (major) downside of laundering money for a Mexican cartel. The husband and father relocates his family from Chicago to the Ozarks in Missouri in order to, well, stay alive. But what he hopes is a good business opportunity proves to be far more complicated than he could've imagined.

But even the darkest of shows can lead to family bonding. During EW's Around the Table with the Ozark cast, Bateman revealed that his 15-year-old daughter has chosen to check out the show. "Last night and the night before, my 15-year-old daughter and I sat and watched episode 1 and episode 2 of the show," Bateman says. "This is a big deal. I haven't seen them for five years, she's never seen the show."

Furthermore, Bateman reveals that it's the first time she's seen her father on screen. And considering her father's known for comedies, she really chose to dive into the deep end. "She's never seen anything I've ever done because, you know, if you've got kids they usually give it up for everybody except you," he continues. "It's been weird for her to see me on [camera] and I get it, that's not uncommon. For some reason she finally decided to watch Ozark."

We can't wait to hear her thoughts on the finale.
