Jason ‘Mayhem' Miller Arrested Again, Bail Set at $1 Million
UFC and Strikeforce veteran Jason “Mayhem” Miller finds himself behind bars once again, but this time, he might remain there for a while.
Miller was recently arrested for vandalizing an Orange County, Calif. tattoo shop in January. MMAWeekly.com confirmed the arrest on Wednesday, which was first reported by TMZ Sports.
According to Orange County records, Miller was arrested on Tuesday and remained in custody on Wednesday. His bail is set at $1,000,000. The reason for such a high bail amount is likely due to Miller's lengthy arrest record.

Miller recently decided to come out of retirement, signing to fight for Italian fight promotion Venator FC. He is slated to challenge promotional middleweight champion Luke Barnatt in May in Italy.
Shortly after Miller’s signing became public, so did news that he had once again run afoul with the law, being stopped and cited for suspicion of driving under the influence, which occurred in early February.
Prior to the Feb. 7 DUI incident, he was arrested in October for assault with a deadly weapon on a peace officer. In 2014, he engaged in a standoff with a SWAT team at his home. In 2013, he was arrested twice for domestic violence. In 2012, he was arrested and charged with misdemeanor vandalism of a church.
Despite the February DUI charge, Frank Merenda, Venator FC president and co-founder, stood behind his decision to sign Miller.
“We signed a contract with Jason Miller after long reflections with his coach and manager. It was never a decision taken lightly,” he said in a statement to MMAWeekly.com.
“At the present time, there are no serious charges against him. But above all, the problems with the justice of Jason Miller began AFTER his retirement from MMA and we believe that his return to activity can help him greatly with his path to redemption. As president of Venator FC, I have no intention of taking away his opportunity because Miller was stopped for driving under the influence.”
Venator FC officials did not immediately respond to a request for comment on Miller's current arrest.
The 35-year-old Miller last set foot in the cage in a losing effort against C.B. Dollaway at UFC 146 on May 26, 2012.
