Jennifer Lopez's The Mother is one of Netflix's biggest movies
Jennifer Lopez's Netflix movie The Mother has become one of the streaming site's most viewed films of all-time.
The movie, which sees Lopez star as a former soldier/assassin being quizzed by the FBI, currently sits at eighth in Netflix's top 10 most viewed film — with over 229.3 million total viewing hours at the time of writing.
The rankings are based off of the first 28 days since premiere, meaning that The Mother still has time to overtake The Adam Project and Extraction which sit at sixth and seventh on 233 and 231 million viewing hours respectively.
The Mother previously broke the records for 2023's most viewed film on its debut, being watched for an impressive 83.71 million hours across its opening weekend.

The film has also enjoyed positive responses from critics, with Digital Spy calling The Mother a "slick if slightly silly" action thriller.
The review also praised Lopez's skills as an actor, writing: "The movie never takes itself too seriously and never pretends to be anything more than what it is – an action thriller that is a showcase for Jennifer Lopez...
"Lopez – who rarely gets the acting credit she deserves – is extremely watchable as the resourceful, protective and even brutal (she hits people with a fist wrapped in barbed wire!) heart of the movie."

Lopez is next set to star in the upcoming movie Unstoppable alongside Jharrel Jerome, which tells the story of wrestler Anthony Robles, for Prime Video.
However, production on the film has been halted indefinitely after two weeks of filming due to the ongoing Writer’s Guild of America strikes.
The Mother is available to stream now on Netflix.
