Could Josh McCown's next destination be New York?
The free agent quarterback visitedwith the Jets this weekend and the two sides have begun discussing potential contract terms, SNY reported Saturday.
According to the report, the Jetsalso remaininterested informer Bears quarterback Jay Cutler, who has yet to visit the team, but haveno desire tosignformer 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick.
McCown was cut by the Browns in February but visited the Cowboys within a month of being released. The veteran journeymanhad been a potentialtarget for Dallas via trade last year after Kellen Moore broke his ankle early in camp, thoughCleveland'sprice was too high. Now with Tony Romo on the way out andDak Prescott on the rise, the Cowboys wouldn't mind seeingMcCown mentorthe young star. They're still interested in the veteran.
McCown, who turns 38 in July,threw for 3,209 yards with 18 touchdowns and 10 interceptions during his two-year stint in Cleveland. He was limited to13 games and11 starts after being hindered by a two broken collarbones.
