John Bateman staying in NRL would mean list of Brits there still looks impressive

John Bateman's future remains a hot topic within many rugby league circles after his stint with Warrington Wolves - and staying in NRL would mean the list of British players currently scheduled to be there remains strong. With the focus on Bradford-born Bateman's next move, here is a list of a dozen noteworthy British-born or British-qualified players in that competition or due to be in it, in alphabetical order:

John Bateman (Wests Tigers)

Exit from Wests Tigers is on the cards after fallout with head coach Benji Marshall but next move is yet to be facilitated.
