John Lundstram in Trabzonspor row as ex Rangers star slated by club chief
John Lundstram is at the centre of a Trabzonspor row after their technical director slated him in private comments that were leaked.
The former Rangers midfielder has found his place in the team questioned after his free transfer switch from Ibrox in the summer, along with Borna Barisic. Trabzon haven't had a great start to the season - both their league games ending in 0-0 draws as well as exiting both the Europa and Conference League games.
Lundstram has found himself mostly in the team, starting five out of eight games in all competition's. But the club's own technical director Senol Gunes has been privately slating the ex-Gers star with his quotes made public.

He said: "I cannot understand the Lundstram transfer. We have several players with the same characteristics. Lundstram is a very heavy and cumbersome football player.
"There is nothing we can do at the moment, but if there is an opportunity to send him to another team, it would be good for both Lundstram and us.”
