John Mayer responds o Katy Perry's sex ranking

John Mayer knows what it's like to let slip about sex with another celebrity ("sexual napalm" comes to mind), but now he's the one who has had to respond to claims about his performance in the bedroom.

During a game of Truth Or Dare with James Corden last month, Katy Perry was asked to rank three of her lovers - John, Orlando Bloom, and Diplo - from best to worst in bed. She reluctantly put John on top, so to speak, Orlando in second, and poor old Diplo last. More about that later...

In a recent interview with Rolling Stone magazine, John was asked if he cared to comment on her critique, to which he diplomatically replied: "I don't have a cool enough thought for you.

"I've hacked this game. I pay very little of the price of fame now. I get to play the music that moves me the most.

"I'm having the time of my life. I'm 39 - I remember 32. I don't wanna do it again."

Eh?

Meanwhile, Diplo didn't react to well to being ranked last when he recently tweeted: "I don't even remember having sex."

He then added: "I won the bronze metal in sex Olympics."

We think he meant medal. But let's not kick him when he's already down, yeah?

Katy and John dated on and off from 2012 until splitting in 2015. Back in 2010, John infamously compared sex with former girlfriend Jessica Simpson to "sexual napalm" during an interview with Playboy.

She replied (via People): "He'll never have this napalm again".
