Jose Mourinho orders 'justice' for Man United with clear Man City relegation message
Former Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho has claimed he wants "justice" for his second-placed finish at Old Trafford in the 2017/18 season.
Mourinho guided United to a runners-up position in his second season at the club after winning the EFL Cup, UEFA Europa League and Community Shield in his first year.
United's second-placed finish under the Portuguese is their joint-best finish in the Premier League since Sir Alex Ferguson departed in 2014. Mourinho has repeatedly gone on record to claim the 2017/18 season was one of the highlights of his entire career, despite winning the Champions League with Porto and Inter Milan.

Mourinho's United finished 19 points behind Manchester City with Pep Guardiola's side reaching a whopping 100 points that season. Much has been made of the rivalry between Mourinho and Guardiola, dating back to their days at Real Madrid and Barcelona, with words traded between two in the past.
Recently, Guardiola pointed to the fact that he has won twice as many Premier League titles as Mourinho. The ex-United boss, now at Fenerbahce, replied by saying he won his titles fairly, referencing the charges against City.
Following news that the court case looking at the allegations of financial misconduct had concluded this week, Mourinho was quizzed on City's situation in his pre-Athletic Bilbao press conference, insisting he does not want to see the Blues relegated - which is one of the mooted punishments.
"Pep and I worked together for three years, we know we love each other," Fanatik quote him as saying.
"It is not true that I want them to be relegated, what is true is that I want justice. Small teams can sometimes be penalised by FFP when they exceed their limits by 5-10 euros.
"I also suffered due to the limits when I was at Roma. I don't think this is fair. We love each other, he knows it. Words are one thing, feelings are another. All I want is justice, but we have no ill feelings towards each other."
