Josh Richardson stars as the Philadelphia 76ers make Miami feel the heat

Josh Richardson scored a season-high 32 points to help the Philadelphia 76ers to a 113-86 victory against his former team the Miami Heat.

Richardson sunk six three-pointers as the Heat were left reeling in a defeat which sees them slip down to third in the Eastern Conference.

In a game that took the 76ers’ winning streak to four, Joel Embiid added 23 points and 11 rebounds, Tobias Harris scored 19 and Al Horford got 16.

Tyler Herro top-scored for the Heat with 20 points and Goran Dragic had 18.

LeBron James scored 30 points for the Los Angeles Lakers as they beat the Grizzlies 108-109 in Memphis.

James put the Lakers ahead with 90 seconds left on the clock and they stayed in front to record a seventh straight victory.

That streak has left Los Angeles clear at the top of the Western Conference, while the Grizzlies, who have now lost three straight games, remain stuck in 12th.

The Milwaukee Bucks’ comprehensive 104-90 win over the Detroit Pistons was their seventh straight victory and saw them consolidate their position at the top of the Eastern Conference.

Giannis Antetokounmpo had 28 points and 10 rebounds, Wesley Matthews added 13 and Eric Bledsoe 11 as the Bucks continued their dominance over the Pistons.

Elsewhere, the Minnesota Timberwolves lost 100-98 to the Phoenix Suns, the Chicago Bulls beat the Charlotte Hornets 116-115, the Indiana Pacers won 111-106 against the Orlando Magic and the Atlanta Hawks lost at home 119-116 to the Toronto Raptors.

The New York Knicks were beaten 111-104 by the San Antonio Spurs, the Cleveland Cavaliers were 110-104 winners over the Portland Trail Blazers and the Utah Jazz claimed a 128-120 victory against the New Orleans Pelicans.
